I am not yet used to the idea of walking around the Netherlands with that big backpack.

With Scotland, or any other foreign country, still not an option this time opted for cycling!

Where I thought I could fit everything in my panniers / on the rack, it was a good thing I had the dog trailer installed by friend Herman the week before.

The moment I wanted to ride off I found out that the package on the rack was not really stable. So quickly hooked the dog cart behind it and filled it with the tent, among other things.

Stupid that I had initially accepted that I could not take my, standard, seat with me this vacation, assuming the bag and carrier only option.

Once I hung the cart behind it I had plenty of room, of course, but so last minute was this decision that I didn’t also get my seat out of the attic.

First and last day, very annoying!, in a hotel because in a ring around Schagen campsites had opened only after a longer distance in November. I will write a piece about wild camping in the Netherlands another time.
