During a week in the South of France, of course, we hiked a lot (Nice, Juan Les Pins, Antibes, Monaco) but this was the only “real” hike.
No Munro’s during this adventure:

Flown into Nice and deliberately chose a quiet little village.
Did not rent a car because we were close to a bus and train station.
This worked super although we were “unlucky” after this day because the train was completely full.
Uber booked who did show up but on the other side of the station
arrived and just picked up people there.
That’s the nice thing about this app, though; you can obviously see where the vehicle is.
Then just walked to a, delicious, restaurant and had a great meal.
Then still ordered an Uber and then still headed for “the cottage.
