Sunday, February 20: 1st Attempt Benn Ime

Yesterday afternoon, when setting up my tent, everything was still white but after a night of rain (and heavy wind) everything was green again.

Where the previous afternoon there was a thick layer of snow, the tent was now literally hanging in the tree

Last photo of this day which, in terms of hiking, ended a few steps away.
You can see a few more steps in the snow but unfortunately you don’t see the wind (storm) incl. snow and hail that literally blew me off this Munro.

We did take shelter behind the boulder on the right for a while (to see if the wind would ease) but then down again very quickly!
