Watch

A history for this Gadget as well: started with a Polar sports watch, then a Garmin, followed by a Garmin and now so the first generation of this Garmin Marq Adventurer.

The first 3 so sport / triathlon watches, this one so really a watch for adventure!

The link below is to the 2nd generation of this watch (which is still a lot more expensive) but the functionality is the same.

I have never had this watch myself on this map view but so this is backed up on my GPS (also from Garmin). So all routes are on both my GPS and my watch. If I choose the ‘survival mode’ the watch battery lasts for over a month!

During the Tour Mont Blanc Alpine, I met someone who walked this entire route on her watch. Update: the other day I also met a, very fast, hiker who was following the route on his Garmin Watch.
